I've finnaly loaded some posts on the Airfix Blog here;
Airfix Collecting
As my camera is definitely on the way out and real life might take me off-line for a while shortly, I thought I'd better get it started!
If anybody has an Airfix-heavy blog or website they'd like me to link to on that page let me know.
Good news and well done Hugh. Sorry to here about the camera, and real life issues.
ReplyDeleteBattle on man!

ReplyDeleteHope to see you back soon.
Cheers
Paul
"Battle on man!" I do I do! Hell Paul; it's only life and it happens to everyone! The camera worked fine today when I needed to take an 'after' in the garden, but the 'before' from last week is a Technicolor washout!
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul (Bod's), got some traffic from your post at the ATF earlier. Tell the bloke with the link issue that it's for when there's all 130-odd posts up, so he can find say all the Japanese sets or all the animals etc...
Should be OK for figures, but see what happens as I fill it up (the posts are all pre-loaded as I wanted them in chronological order from the top), might need help with painted and converted etc...I will keep adding to each post over time so the Jap's again say; will get a comparison with Esci/Revell etc...all their Hong Kong pirates, the Montaplex copies, some box shots, catalogue stills colour and pose variations...and then I'll be looking at conversions, side-by-side's with the other scale (1:32) etc...meanwhile the same will be happening at the 1:32 post, so in the end a good 'document on the history of Japanese toy soldiers will be on the two posts...that's the idea anyway...the road to Hell is paved...and all that!!
Linked to you both over there as you both cover a fair bit of Airfix...actually that's where I could do with help...any Airfix-heavy blogs and things that have escaped me?
And I think I'm going to have to allow comments over there aren't I?
I will keep an eye out. Cheers for the linkage Hugh.
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Paul
