H is for Hangers

I don't for sure know the history of these, I believe in some parts of the world 'tree hangers' have some tradition at Easter as they do at Christmas, and they only do at Christmas here because they were imported during Victorian/Edwardian times by our 'German' royalty as an early example of globalisation!

However they (hangers) are now becoming an Easter 'thing' over here, and while it's still only in some strata of society, I picked up a bag of them in a charity shop the other day and we'll have a quick shufti - as it's Easter and they're figural!

Only the one duplicate (green-egg hugger) and they are poured-resin with nylon-cord string-hangers. They are what they are.

Hollow, blow-moulded rabbits. The technique seems to involve an element of either cutting/stamping or very thin-walled moulds, as two of the figurines have strange bubbles of flash (arrowed) which have a slim join to the product as if the hot polymer has leaked into an adjoining - yet restrictive - chamber, I can't get my head round picturing it to be honest!

They are like the waste you would get from between repeat stampings in sheet material, maybe a measured shot of polymer is blown into a mold as it stamps together - like a glass bottle mould? Or am I talking crap!
