Dinosaur Adventures; a bit pricey at three-quid really, but, well . . . "Cost of living crisis" and all that, and they seem to be re-moulds from ancient, 1970's, 'gape mouth', chinasaur tools, and it's the second current set of such we've looked at recently - Third image down - so clearly demand for cheap dino's from little people is driving a search through the old tool-banks in the old colony's older makers! Of course my favorite is the Dimetrodon, while the kerthunkersaurus is the weakest by a country-mile! Any or all previous markings have been removed from the tool with a grinder, and a new, neat 'China' has been added to the resulting smooth patch. That's them, six cheapo' chinasaurs, in a stable PVC-replacement polymer, for three of your Earth pounds, that's fifty-pee each and a free bag! Out there now - The Works!
About Me
- Hugh Walter
- No Fixed Abode, Home Counties, United Kingdom
- I’m a 60-year-old Aspergic gardening CAD-Monkey. Sardonic, cynical and with the political leanings of a social reformer, I’m also a toy and model figure collector, particularly interested in the history of plastics and plastic toys. Other interests are history, current affairs, modern art, and architecture, gardening and natural history. I love plain chocolate, fireworks and trees, but I don’t hug them, I do hug kittens. I hate ignorance, when it can be avoided, so I hate the 'educational' establishment and pity the millions they’ve failed with teaching-to-test and rote 'learning' and I hate the short-sighted stupidity of the entire ruling/industrial elite, with their planet destroying fascism and added “buy-one-get-one-free”. Likewise, I also have no time for fools and little time for the false crap we're all supposed to pretend we haven't noticed, or the games we're supposed to play. I will 'bite the hand that feeds', to remind it why it feeds.

D is for Dinosaurs Again
I still have a bunch of Dinosaur posts in
their section of the queue (year 2028 in Picasa!), and since trying to clear
them back at the start of the year have added several more posts, this among
them, I even shot some capsule dino's yesterday which I will try to get out
before the end of RTM, which started well but has slowed . . . too much real
life and two days without Internet (BT claim it's nothing to do with them but
the fact that the 'signal' was off from midnight Friday to midnight last night
suggests something deliberate and scheduled!), anyway, these are still in The Works;
