Kindly, TJF confirms that the card dates from the 1980's, and was 'closeout', which again takes us away from the 1950/60's cereal premiums, and could be old stock from the 1977 days or something more contemporary . . . pretty-much what I dug-up, and he's certainly done Kent's arguments (if he really has any?) no favours!! What I've said, and I will say it again, is that THERE IS NO EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE that they ever carried the Tatra-for-Kellogg's/Nabisco/Peak Freans et al 'Soldiers/Warriors of the World/All Nations'. Nor any evidence for the link to silver/gold cereal premiums, beyond the hearsay present on Kent's site for years. I have never said they didn't 'do them', just that the evidence isn't there?

Now if Mr Specher is to send empirical evidence in his fantastic forthcoming article, then that query will be put to bed, won't it? And the whole hobby will know a truth, but as The Jabbering Fuck is relying on another card-top altogether, I suspect we'll be waiting a long time for that particular evidential revelation?

It's on 15 websites!), both by himself, and in league with others, and I have sung his praises here many times, I have posted about 100-links (?) to his pages over the years, but this day was always coming.

Indeed, I have had private conversations with (closes eyes and counts quietly), one . . . two . . . three . . . at least five/six people off the top of my head, over the last four or five years, some a decade ago, predicting this moment. So they won't have been any more surprised than me to see Standinger's arsegasm, nor even, if they noticed Kent's comments the other day.

He's always been conspicuous by his absence, it was notable how he almost seemed to start commenting on Shite Stuff more after the war started, so his associate membership of the PSTSM was always badge-clear! And he started adjusting his site to reflect things written on my Blog within months of my starting, never crediting, never acknowledging, even as I sent him traffic? Something I've also pointed out to people over the years. None of this latest skirmish is any surprise to those who matter.

So the question was only ever, is he going to avoid eye-contact forever, stay 'neutral', sit on his hands over on the verge? And it was beginning to look like he would, but for reasons known only to him, he lost the plot on Monday and fell off the wagon! And because - as you know - I was up on my high horse (it's almost like somebody else scripted half of this!), I couldn't help him up!

Far from Kent's "You got a lot of the history of Rubenstein International wrong" (I didn't even cover much history) or Stadinger's "....contained a number of mistakes", there was one error - on the status of a non-toy soldier charity-trust thingy! Nothing in Kent's comments on my post, nor in TJF's little turd of a piece . . . piece of a turd, corrects or contradicts anything I reported last Monday.

Still; Kent is going to put us all right, hopefully including his own site, which has always contained questionable details, as fact, on Rubenstien, with his future article, it's gonna' be awsome, let's all big it up - coming soon, the fundamentally stupendous, encyclopedic, vastly better than Hugh's, fuller than a full shit-truck's, history of Rubenstein, the article that will save the hobby!

Worth a re-read, as I knew exactly what was happening, and pulled no punches, while Kent was pretending he didn't, but read his words after seeing the Jabbering Fuck's post and it all makes a sort of gutless sense? And a rare link to the almighty arsehole's Shite Stuff, but given his posting rate recently, he needs the traffic!

See, a big bump! The trouble is Stad's Shite is such thin gruel these days, I only visit it about once a fortnight to see if he's posted, anything, at all! It just so happens, it's often on a Friday! [I can't take screen-caps as jpg's on this pice-of-shit Windows-11 machine, so I have to shoot the screen, and I'd already turned the main lights off, me and Bosey-Boy were snuggled for the night when I found the PSTSM arsholery!]

And don't imagine all that traffic came from him, this will be the word getting round, the Vichy will be there, a cock-wacking monkey lizard or two will be there, a cheque-keeping Spanish author and his fan-boys, Deadleaf and the other one, the AFD will be there, a right-wing antipodean, then there are a couple of facebook groups which have been infested by some of my 'eemies', so the word got around; "There's a fight in the playground, Kent finally got off the fence!" All the people who pretend they've never found the Blog will be there, as they were - like Kent - all along, as they will be - tomorrow!

 

You see, all these guys are to the left of the bell-curve, if you know what I mean, while I'm to the right of it, so if I'm never going to see eye-to-eye with them, I might as well learn to enjoy rebutting their stuff!

 

Consider this, up until 48 hours ago, Kent had four sets I think, on his Rubenstein page/section, with some questionable facts. yet when I show eleven and mention the dogs (which Kent's got) The Jabbering Fuck busts a blood-vessel over a thirteenth, at me! Not the 5th, 6th, 7th . . . at 'well-researched' Kent? Why? Why is it, that they hold me to a higher standard, than they hold even themselves to? Huh? Why is that?

Back in the autumn, last year, or the year before? Or every year! TJF did a post with six figures, he got four of them wrong, and it was five corrections from three of his mates and some input from a Brit over two days, before they were all singing from the same hymn-sheet!

 

And that was fine, that was nothing more than an unfortunate series of multiple 'brain freezes', totally allowed . . . I get one detail out of whack, not even a fact, sometimes; just if I don't mention something, I get "Card or paper? Where was they from? How many? Who's that? When? Why?

I am literally held to a higher standard than everyone else! Why is that? I know! And why isn't all this fantastically new and accurate 'history' (of which I got "lots" wrong, apparently), not already on Kent's site? Was he saving it? Was he saving it for us all to enjoy on a rainy day?

There is one inaccuracy in my previous post on the subject, the family's [non-toy soldier] Foundation is not still active, there were about eleven companies between the three (Irvin, Ralph and 'L' - no inaccuracies there), ten had nothing to do with toys and I didn't follow-them up the other night, turns-out that when I downloaded it all, way-back-when, it still was active, I suspect the other 'still active's will prove not to be, too!

Apologies for that, mea culpa, and I'll wear sackcloth and ashes for the rest of the weekend! And sorry for the poor imagery here, really, but it was short notice and I only had a few unused images left-over from the other day!

To be honest, TJF's latest . . . spat? Attack? Is more sad than anything else, the attack on me personally is lacklustre and half-hearted, his own input is wrong and inaccurate, I think he used a similar title before, and it's only a few paragraphs? The whole thing lacks substance, lacks meat; it's pallid, he's not even trying, while Kent hides in my comments, pretending he can't see, what we can all see with our own eyes?

And I know what you're thinking, "Hugh, did you climb on your high horse just to get the Jabbering Fuck to push you over the 5-mil, with or without the fortuitous intervention of Kent Sprecher?", and, would you know it, in all this excitement . . . I've clean forgot.

B is for Box-ticking Bible-bashing Belligerents

Crusaders; Reivers of the Levant! We know these are Supreme because Tiger told the hobby they were when they announced they would be carrying the full-sized range over a decade ago, through the pages of a leading hobby magazine. Whether Tiger were going through Toy Major or direct I don't know, but the impression was they were working directly with Supreme.

It makes you wonder then that ten years later someone would be talking such shite about Supreme on the PSTSM notice-board and in direct attacks on me? But if the individual had got used to making things up as he went along, and further; got used to getting away with making things up as he went along, you cease to wonder about him and wonder instead at those around him? Several of whom were older and should've been wiser!

Knights Hospitaller . . . Templar? If the crosses used by the orders are specific, these are Knights Generic (White) I fear! In the best traditions of most other plastic crusaders! The separate weapons are quite good I think, a short lance with hand guard and another with a nice three-pointed pennant. All Italeri copies and again; a couple of the figures are similar to those in smaller-scale Supreme lines/sets.

Knights Generic (Black), Teutons, or the other Hospitaller! More Italeri copies; the horse with the lozenge base (left, and the one with the aubergine-shaped* base, right in the 'white' shot) are standard horses in the Supreme inventory being used in most sizes/scales and other (non-medieval) sets. Indeed one of the ways of working them all out is the re-use of figure poses or horse sculpts!

The foot figures are all taken from Italeri Set 6009 The Knights, the mounted from Italeri Set 6019 Teutonic Knights.

D is for Dealers - Some of Them are Scum

ZZ is for Whatever You Want to Believe!

But belief is the realm of the religious zealot, or the tabloid-reader of limited mental-faculties, not the empirical researcher.

A funny thing happened recently, or, at least; I think it's funny, but then I seem to have a lot of amusing enemies at the moment, enemies and critics, or critics equating to enemies (or 'emies' as TJF calls his!), so when they advertise their own idiocy, it amuses me, if it doesn't amuse you, read no further and I'll try to post some toys later.

Back at the beginning of August 2016 I published the results of much digging by several people on the subject of cheapo-knockoff plastic figures, farm & zoo animal rack-toys and tin-plate tree-hangers by Ingo Roggatz's ^Z_Z-branding here, yet recently Hildabreath Dildobrand (side-taking, self-identifying, associate of the PSTSM, so 'fair game') has been informing people (as fact) that the brand actually pertains to George Zimmermann's ZZ-branded metal fabricator's in Zirndof, Germany - this is a falsehood.

Firstly because '^Z_Z' the rack-toy importer started after 'ZZ' the German household goods manufacturer ceased trading and second because 'ZZ' the German household goods importer has been associated with few toys or playthings, there being a reference to their tin-plate 'piggy-banks' and a single example in the local museum (above link) of a toy truck, around 1:24th/25th (or larger) which is a huge chunk of beach/garden/sand-pit plaything composed of tin-plate, rubber and die-cast parts, showing its age, not a shiny, minty, 1990's, small tree-hanger of the sort imported by '^Z_Z' the rack-toy importer!

Now, this is not me being a 'clever-dick' (as someone calling herself 'Pardeilhan' would have you believe), this is my putting the record straight before more damage is done to the hobby by that group of loudmouthed, gobshite, blowhards centred on TJF and the Penn State Toy Soldier Mafia and their various AFD associates, idiot affiliates and Vichy hangers-on.

Witness the fact that some people are still using DGN in feebleBay listings as a brand-mark, despite the fact it is now appearing on other toys, by other brands, for its true purpose; to denote the English word 'design' as an abbreviation.

It should be noted that while the above illustrated dealer has tried to ride the coat-tails of 'vintage' tin-plate, he knows he's pulling a fast-one, hence the £3.50p start price, and the single bid was either speculative or made by someone who wasn't taken-in! £6.75p - with postage? . . . bargain; but only a small one!

The upshot being; the factory Mr. Bildaburg Beiderbecke wants us to believe imported plastic shite from Hong Kong into the 1980's and carried the same tin-plate tree-hangers as Schilling through the 1990's, actually ceased trading in 1972, and seems to have made few toys, and then only larger ones; manufacturing them, not importing them?

Meanwhile - and well within a year of Zimmermann's demise - Herr. Ingo Roggatz was registering a ZZ trade-mark (after all: one had just been 'freed-up') with the German authorities responsible for such things . Now the fact that he would select a moniker rendered as a cipher, similar to one recently defunct, would add weight to the theory that the Rissen Farm and Riesen Zoo logos were deliberately similar to Stock chocolate's brand marks . . . what we have here is a consummate entrepreneur, exploiting the visual power of brand-recognition! And . . . as far as listings go; ZZ is second best to AAArdvark; one tends to look at both ends of a list first!

Nice try Deadleaf Hairbrand, but no banana! The red triangle is an old Victorian/Edwardian shipping-trope signifying 'quality' as Nabisco used to tell us on their cereal packets . . . every cereal packet! I think it goes back to old dock-side or Customs/Revenue stamps on imports (or exports?), but I haven't studied the origins, maybe they painted a corner of the crate to show it had been checked or passed or something?

We shall return to the ^Z_Z (not ZZ) tin-plate when I find my three in the garage . . . which - according to my notes - may only be two, after-all! I found them! There are only the two, and you can see from the 'Berserker' that they are actually very small, 1990's Tree-hangers!

Carried by Ingo Roggatz's ^Z_Z (in Europe), Schilling (in the USA) and possibly/probably Tobar and/or Hawkin's Bazaar (in the UK), not Zimmermann, who further; definitely, never handled the plastic tat from Hong Kong!

And while these state 'Germany' it is cleverly positioned before the ©-sign, the ©-sign being positioned alone, meaning nothing (officially), the whole basically saying whatever a lawyer might need it to say at some point in the future! This is modern Hong Kong-Chinese production for Herr. Roggatz.

To my knowledge I haven't fallen foul of any other Blogs, although I have voluntarily stopped commenting on one or two - to save their blushes. Someone called James did stop following me the other day, but as I don't follow his and as he did so in a flourish of bilious (and political) hate on TJF's blog (so was therefore - clearly a TJF shill), it makes no difference to my situation and carries no significance for this Blog. The difficult one - In this war (which they started) they (Sell and TJF) keep trying to get other people involved - I try not to. Although I'm happy to shame those who choose to get involved.

What I would say is that I have picked up new supporters and the best part of a million hits in the last 12 months and those who choose to deal with me, do so for their own reasons and don't need Mr. Sell telling them what they should or should not do. The blog is going from strength to strength and I'm going nowhere else.

If, as a collector, you don't want me "be part of " you, have a word next time you see me and I'll try to disengage! And I only ever advise anyone / everyone not to get involved, sadly some have. The reasoning he must be using (at the level of  a12-year-old), must apply equally to Stadinger and himself, with regard the US 'community? But that's the hypocrisy of the two idiot's for you!

After I had pointed out that Erwin was wrong about my Blue Box and Ri-Toys post, they both got the arse big-time; inventing a whole port and industrial estate [Tain Sang - too funny] in Hong Kong - which doesn't exist! I pointed that out too - among a plethora of other things they'd cooked-up as they went along!

As a result they started having the odd pop at me over at plaid-stuff, suggesting I didn't know anything and was always wrong . . . so one day I pointed out that Erwin was making it up . . . again!

The funny thing was I only had the one figure, and I only had photographs of it! But it was all I needed.

They (both were involved) then tried to make out A) I was wrong and B) he had not used RP figures (1^st link from Erwin above), by photographing some new figures (actually the same figures after someone had taken a screwdriver's hot hex-bit to them!) and claiming they were the figures he used - ergo; I was wrong.

So I went back to the Vichy thread, took screencap's of the RP-marked figures he had used (and which are still there!), compared them to mine and called them out for now lying about the lie! You can't make shit this up! Although; they try to! (I is for is it Res Plastic, Basa or DSG?).

This led to a spittle-flecked rant from Standinger (2^nd link from Erwin above) which attempted to paint me as a conspiracy theorist (I know - dum! But they get their learnin' from tabloids), with the aid of an spurious, additional, CoMa original! However by now, Erwin was getting shaky on the details in reply to someone's comment and they both ended up contradicting just about everything they'd said on the subject and each other.

I dealt with that, line-by-tedious-line in this post (Stads Watch / Erwin Watch - Back to Basa'ics !) and we moved on to Fontanini, Rojas plagiarism, the risible not-DSG thing and, well, most of you have followed enough of it to know what the flavour is!

Until the little-retch decided to resurrect it all the other day!

In the meantime I have shown the CoMa originals (or late production from those moulds) and another slightly different figure. With what came-out in the original spat, and what's turned-up since (R is for Romans! Co-Ma . . . et al!), it's clear that there are at least three sets of moulds;

• CoMa (Originals)
• Res Plastics (RP)
• Unknown (as yet)

And that the Res Plastics moulds went to DSG in Argentina, who may or may not have run them (or ex-RP stock) with or without the RP-mark and/or hex-driver holes. That there was a late issue of/from the CoMa tool and that there's a third 'cheapie' set - which may have been cleaned-up (or copied) to become the RP set?

At no point has anyone (at shitestuff, Vichy or here) shown a figure which can be authenticated as Basa, and while Basa may have worked with CoMa, there is little actual data on when or what the relationship was and no empirical evidence they specifically handled the Romans. If they did they would be the CoMa sculpts; which - ironically - Erwin also showed!

While Erwin - who claimed to have corresponded with Basa's owner - has failed to explain why he was (still is - thank God it's a locked forum) passing the RP-DSG sculpts off as Basa? Nor has he provided any evidence of this correspondence to 'win' his case.

And while the PSTSM shill's will bleat about me 'getting excited about mere toys', I am in fact responding to criticism (for 'criticism' read 'nasty, factually-inaccurate, illiterate, drivel'), while their self-proclaimed 'Legend' of a leader gets equally excited . . . about toys! Witness the second either of their posts.

And - this blog is err . . . about toys! When I blog on [more important] stuff like politics or the environment they get equally irate, so I can't win either way, but then; they're not a bright bunch, and if I can't win, I'll carry on regardless, being me; and they can go hang! Is that racist? Fuck'em!

The recent spate of attacks on stadsshite and over in Vichy are no doubt due to the fact that Christmas is coming, clearly; they are winding themselves up! I'll help!
