The complacent, the disinterested, the politically ignorant/politically uneducated/politically 'old-school' dogmatic, the climate change deniers, yeah; even the liberal elite are going to have to get off their comfortable, fat, well paid, well fed, grey, middle-class arses in 2015...we are blundering into the end of days, led by money-driven monkeys, thinking science will save us from ourselves, believing our kids and their kids will be 'all right', hopeing technology will find/provide the answers befor it's too late...really? I mean; REALLY?

So I guess you think that this is the fault of the Jews, too?!

The true badge of a troll..incomprehensible nonsense...if I defend the Palestinians against extreme orthodox Judaism; I am anti-Semitic, if I defend the People of France against extreme Islam; I am...err...Anti-Semitic!
That I defend Islamists when they need defending, and attack them when they need attacking, while you can't tell your arse from you elbow....In one sentence you illustrate why I am worth reading and you aren't! Well done!
Can someone tell Melanie Philips to get back to her desk and stop trolling my toy blog!!!!
However, the true reality is though, Adolf, that you don't 'attack' or 'defend' anyone. You sit behind your computer desk, rant awhile something irrational about 'Jews' with age-old anti-Semitic stereotype euphemisms such as 'money men' or whatever and then go back to playing with your toys just like an immature little boy who is running away from himself.
Becky
A perfect description of yourself, of course, except your toy is what the rest of us call free thought...whatever!
Before you head off on another anti-Semitic Nazi rant which seamlessly conflates 'Jewish' with 'Israeli extremist', I feel you should also know that George Wolinski one of the Charles Hebdo cartoonists - which, incidentally was also heavily critical of the actions of the Israeli government - murdered yesterday happened to be Jewish. His parents fled Poland to the then French controlled Tunisia in 1939 when the German Nazi forces invaded. His father was murdered by the Nazis when George was three years' old. Although you've jumped on the bandwagon by trending 'Je Suis Charlie' on your website, I'm sure that neither George Wolinski nor his colleagues would wish to be associated with the far-right anti-Semitic and racist opinions that you evidently hold.

As I've said..."Whatever"...
Sterile comments and attacks !
I'm french and "Je suis Charlie" too! this have nothing to do with "Jews" or "anti-semitic" or "Nazi" or whatever you want! I just think that ALL the people who are able to think alone, without gurus of all sorts must be "Charlie"....
According to Hugh it does because one of the victims - Georges Wolinski happened to be Jewish - and Hugh conflates being Jewish with being Israeli in his previous posts such as the one entitled 'Twelve Tribes of Trouble'. In this post he blames Jewish people like Georges Wolinski who lost his father in the holocaust for their own persecution by trying to say that there is something wrong with us because we have been driven out of so many countries. I think you're pretty sterile by sticking your head in the sand at this time, Sam - in stark contrast to the brave stand made by the people at Charlie Hebdo.
"Is it not time the Jews asked themselves why? Why the bloodletting, why the pogroms, why the holocaust? Why were they carted off into slavery – more than once? Why did they have their Temple raised to the ground…more than once? I would suggest they start by reading The Merchant of Venice, by one 'William Shakespeare'."
If you don't think that the above comment written by Hugh (in his post: 'The Twelve Tribes of Trouble' is nothing other than purely, un-reconstructed centuries-old anti-Jewish polemic then quite frankly you wouldn't be able to see a regiment of Nazi storm troopers if they were goose-stepping in full force down the champs elyesses in May 1940!
... sorry but I've nothing to do with your personal disagreements with Hugh. Your attack against me is stark too !
Ok I return to put my head in the sand ...
It's not a "personal disagreement' though, is it Sam? It's a political one as you well know - and I sense that despite feelings of loyalty to your friend you may be uncomfortable with what Hugh has said in the above quote too.
The question is: are you going to follow in the historical tradition of those French people who looked the other way when Dreyfus was set up by a profoundly anti-Semitic French establishment; who collaborated and got on as normal when their own government was rounding up fellow French citizens during the WWII occupation; when even today waves of French Jews are emigrating because of rising anti-Semitic attacks against them? Or are you going to follow in the tradition of Emile Zola, the Marquis and the staff of Charlie Hebdo? Your choice: mediocre sterility or vibrant liberty?
... a question = a response !
ok !
That's quite clear :
"Je suis Charlie" !
I read Charlie Hebdo when maybe you were not born ! (maybe!).
Don't Sam...it thrives on attention! ;-) (head=sand)
Shush-now 'Becky', let the medication kick-in ... breeaathh ... and out ...
CHARLIE! 12 victims of religious fanaticism. What is at stake, what was targeted by the terrorists, was freedom of thought. Some people still in the Middle Ages (and not only among the Muslilms).
You do realise that so far all either of you have been able to offer have been ad hominem attacks instead of any defence against my criticisms of the irrational anti-Semitism in the 'Twelve Tribes of Trouble' post that appears on this site?
