I’m a 60-year-old Aspergic gardening CAD-Monkey. Sardonic, cynical and with the political leanings of a social reformer, I’m also a toy and model figure collector, particularly interested in the history of plastics and plastic toys. Other interests are history, current affairs, modern art, and architecture, gardening and natural history. I love plain chocolate, fireworks and trees, but I don’t hug them, I do hug kittens. I hate ignorance, when it can be avoided, so I hate the 'educational' establishment and pity the millions they’ve failed with teaching-to-test and rote 'learning' and I hate the short-sighted stupidity of the entire ruling/industrial elite, with their planet destroying fascism and added “buy-one-get-one-free”. Likewise, I also have no time for fools and little time for the false crap we're all supposed to pretend we haven't noticed, or the games we're supposed to play. I will 'bite the hand that feeds', to remind it why it feeds.

M is for Mundi Toys . . . Dunkin, Montaplex et al!

A proper return to one of my favourite sets of small scale, technically intermediate scale at 30-35mm, toy soldiers, the 'Dunkin' bubble-gum premiums, and while I will show you all of them, I think I may still have to find one?

We looked at my then, small collection, near the beginning of the Blog, 2010, and at the time it was popularly considered that Dunkin were the primary source, with the other sources being secondary.

But I now suspect that Mundi Toys might have been the first/major user, with the various gum-manufacturers dipping-in, in turn, among which we know Mundi were themselves one, Dunkin was another, Americana probably had a pop (although I have yet to find an envelope for them), GC (General de Cofiteria S.A.) 'Boomer' and Wikö among others, as and when there was available production-time from the supplier (who may or may not have been Mundi or Dunkin), or a gap in their own promotions schedules.

Above, we see the Mundi bubblegum 'Sobre' on the right (Soldados en Accion - 'Soldiers in Action'), containing one piece of Tyler's chicle and one figure. On the left is a blister-set with a pair of vehicles and the Dunkin pack (Hazañas y Combates - lit: "Feats and Combats") in the middle. The Mundi are different colours, my - mint - envelopes contained yellow Americans, while you can see the blister has a number of metallic-blue ones, the figures we are looking at below are probably all Dunkin.

I actually had some trouble, shooting these, so we have two sets of photographs for both the Americans and the Russians! Here they all are on the carpet, which they rather shrank into, and I had to play with the light and contrast to render them viewable! 20 poses/sculpts, common to all three nations, for a total of 60 unique figurines.

Above are the grunts, I thought I'd sorted them into riflemen and tommy-gunners, but I notice there's a tommy-gunner hiding in the top row, so it's four and eight, not five and seven! Below them is an obvious officer, the command/support trio and some heavy weapons with the third grenade thrower.

I've seen these - rather ridiculously - credited to Airfix as the influencer! However I think the author was just looking for an excuse to get them in his tome! In point of fact they are mostly after MPC (54mm and 60mm) and the Marx 54mm, if you need a second source, but it's MPC poses and 'after MPC' in the main. The grenade thrower without weapon, though, is ALL Britains, as is the being-shot character! It's true, the kneeling radio operator looks vaguely like the Airfix HO/OO paratrooper one, but he also looks like a reverse sculpt of an early (1950's) kit figure!

The Russians, there's only 19 of the 20 present here, with the sentry and guard dog absent, we've seen him before, in green, and I'm pretty sure there's a couple of red-ones in the storage sample, now. Last time I divided them into summer (tunics and helmets) and winter (greatcoats and fur-hats) uniforms, this time I grouped them thematically as the US troops.

With five standing about, five fighting for their lives, five moving-up/advancing, and five miscellaneous! Being red plastic, they were the worst to photograph, and I ended-up in the bathroom, shooting them against the mirror, where - of course - the point of focus shifted to 'imaginary space'!

Now, I've said before, when I first encountered these, it was with a couple of the diggers, and I thought they might be Afrika Korps, but I notice Dunkin have them as Chinese, with the Mundi sobre envelope showing a sketch which is more British-Commonwealth? I guess this lot are your flexible friend! I tend to think of them as Japanese, especially now I have the swordsmen - top row, 2 & 5.

Although without 20 Germans, and in an odd scale/size, this set has always been a bit problematical, and it's their charm rather than their usefulness which has me staying loyal to them. If they are Chinese, then we could assume we are looking at the three main powers in the Cold War, which makes more sense?

The rest of the 'stuff', clockwise from the top left. The missing Jap'/Chinese pose is a prone shooter, he looks familiar-enough for me to think I may have one somewhere, but, equally, he may be the still-elusive 60th pose for my samples?

Colour variations on the Russians in red, when we looked at them last time, there were a bunch of green ones which may well have been Mundi issues, or Montaplex, who did all these, in various colours, some quite whacky, but whether from the original tools or as lower-grade copies I don't know yet.

Then the missing guard-dog from the above line-ups, and another colour-variation shot. Below them are the typical base marks which may or may not be mould-release pin-marks, and are something in common with lots of the output of Olà (ice cream premiums), Raja and others (in addition to those already named above), some of which output is believed to have come from the Heimo works; I don't know why?

Bottom right has the recipient of some wargamers snack sticker, rather than a national army identity I suspect, but whether it was a clementine, mandarin, satsuma or tangerine is currently unknown; intensive research, however, remains ongoing! Finally, slight colour variants of the US Machine-gunner.

There is still a Mundi Toys (they exhibited at the New York toy fair in September), but they are SRL, not SA, and are somewhere in Bolivia nor do they seem to carry this kind of stuff.

And this is one of those posts where everyone has given me a few figures over the years in addition to my own finds, so thanks, alphabetically to; Graham Apperley, John Begg, Andreas Dittmann, Peter Evans, Tony Harrington, Mike Harding, Adrian Little, Gareth Morgan, Trevor Rudkin and Chris Smith.

T is for Two - More Machine Gunners

I meant to have a series of these posts off the back of a bunch of fleaBay and show purchases last autumn, but circumstances since have knocked that plan on the head for now, they'll all come out of the woodwork eventually one way or another, but for now I do have this pair.

The Atlantic Russian Maxim-type MG was quite a piece of work for those raised on Airfix's little WWI and 8th Army MG's, and the large scale one is exactly the same; the one reduced from the other - the master model likely being bigger still. However, in both scales it is ridiculously over-sizes and comes-in about the same as a 1:35 6lb'r might be! It didn't matter much to a kid, but must be frustrating for wargamers wanting MG's for Atlantic-sourced units?

In the shenanigans I went through getting these lots, hinted at in the previous post, the gunner and gun ended-up in two different auctions, one of which went invisible for a while, but somehow I managed to get both pieces back together in the end!

The sum of its parts; it's probably the decision to go with a clip/pop-together assembly model which led to the over-enlarging of everything, certainly with the 1:72/HO version, as the hand-grip would be unfindable at a realistic scale, but that doesn't excuse the problem with the size in the 1:32nd range, beyond the fact that the operator needs to remain in scale with the rest, whilst still reaching the grip-handles?

This might be American, but is probably French in origin, and depicting a Brit' in Mk.I helmet rather than a Yank in a 'Brodie' version. And it might be chalkware or some other composition, but is I suspect Blank de Meudon, a hard plaster or chalk mixed with clay, also used for mould-making - particularly in the pre-production phases. Painting is simpler than some French chalkware though, so a basic penny-toy?

Also; while he might actually be a rifleman, I think he's trying to depict an Owen-gunner, so maybe a First World War figure?

H is for Hey Russians! This one's for you . . .

It's already started, the Russian pop-singer Alla Pugacheva has spoken out against the war in Ukraine and the “...death of our boys for illusory goals” and further called on the Russian authorities to declare her a "...foreign agent", in solidarity with her anti-war husband Maxim Galkin; already condemned by Putin's regime.

Don't be the last one off the plank, they will be the first to go to jail.

Thought for the Day - Slava Ukraine!

One of the things which has annoyed me in recent months is the way some people; both overly well meaning but nonetheless; thoughtless idiots, crippled by Political Correctness on the Left and argumentative, ignorant trolls, crippled by their own stupidity on the Right, have taken to saying of the coverage of the illegal invasion of Ukraine by Russia, and / or of the way we - in the West - have responded with aid or by taking refugees, with a line that goes something like this;

"What about Syria/Afghanistan/Yemen/Congo . . . you didn't / don't treat them like this?"

Well. here's the thing . . . The Afghanistan's, Iraq's, Iran's, Tunisia's, Yemen's, Mali's, Sudan's, Rwanda's and Burma's of this World are (and often have been for some time/centuries) first and foremost squalid little spats between squalid little local chiefs, warlords, priests or witch-doctors, criminals, self-appointed 'strong men, or just those with the guns or the keys to the Treasury, all these other wars, conflicts or revolutions are the same hated track of humanity's B-side, playing over-and-over and depressingly getting us nowhere.

But, all of human history is about the slow and steady rise of liberal, tolerant, secular democracy, and while no one sensible would claim it's been easy, no one sensible would claim we are there yet - indeed we are in the middle of one of the periodical 'Right Wing backlashes' which make the rise of right-thinking so slow - and no one sensible would claim it'll ever be a 'done deal', not with capitalists fighting against it every step of the way, nevertheless, it has brought us - recently - over half a century of relative peace and prosperity at home; in Europe, North America and Australasia.

However, in Ukraine, the Orks of Mordor have come out of the backward-thinking, backward-looking back-woods of the East to attack civilisation and try to tear-down the very tenets of democracy which the civilised world hold uppermost, with brutality, ignorance, lies, fake news, torture, execution, rape, murder, looting and other human rights abuses not seen since Hitler's Orks swept across the same lands.

So god-damned right we're going to support Kyiv, we're going to help the Ukrainians, we're going to send money, arms and blankets and we're going to make a fuss.

P is for Polish Roundup - 3 - WWII / Cold War

The third lot of PZG that's come-in recently was this little lot (plus the two figures from 'Four Tanker's & a Dog' we saw a few days ago here in other mixed post) and consists mostly of British production knock-off's, but there are some original Polish sculpts too.

Airfix Russian Infantry; Airfix US Infantry; BR Moulds Toy Soldiers; Cold War; Polish Copy; Polish Paratroopers; Polish Toy Soldiers; Polish ZW; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Polish Infantry; PZG Toy Figures; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG US Infantry; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Timpo GI's; Timpo Solid GI's; Trojan Khaki Infantry; WWII Toy Soldiers;
Two ex-Airfix WWII Soviet Infantry, one compared with his donor (grey), all seven Airfix poses were copied, and the clones are a little smaller than the figures they're aping.

Also a pair of US Infantry, again; ex-Airfix doppelgangers, again all seven poses were lifted, and they are painted to match the Soviets, whether this means they were sold as a set of 14 from the same side or two sets of seven I don't know, but the PZG website separates them.

Airfix Russian Infantry; Airfix US Infantry; BR Moulds Toy Soldiers; Cold War; Polish Copy; Polish Paratroopers; Polish Toy Soldiers; Polish ZW; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Polish Infantry; PZG Toy Figures; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG US Infantry; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Timpo GI's; Timpo Solid GI's; Trojan Khaki Infantry; WWII Toy Soldiers;
A Polish copy of a Trojan / BR Moulds rendition of an older Crescent hollow-cast figure, painting is quite (six-colour-) colourful on this chap, almost as if the painter liked the figure as much as I do!

Airfix Russian Infantry; Airfix US Infantry; BR Moulds Toy Soldiers; Cold War; Polish Copy; Polish Paratroopers; Polish Toy Soldiers; Polish ZW; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Polish Infantry; PZG Toy Figures; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG US Infantry; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Timpo GI's; Timpo Solid GI's; Trojan Khaki Infantry; WWII Toy Soldiers;
Timpo also got the pirated treatment, with the 10 of their larger GI set joining two other (ex-French - Mokarex - production?) figures for a 12-count, these yellow bases can be shared with the previous Airfix clones, as can the paler green paint job on the other crawling chap. From the fact that some of the poses weren't copied by the British plagiarists, suggests PZG took these straight from the hollow-cast originals.

Airfix Russian Infantry; Airfix US Infantry; BR Moulds Toy Soldiers; Cold War; Polish Copy; Polish Paratroopers; Polish Toy Soldiers; Polish ZW; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Polish Infantry; PZG Toy Figures; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG US Infantry; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Timpo GI's; Timpo Solid GI's; Trojan Khaki Infantry; WWII Toy Soldiers;
Original sculpts of Soviet-era stuff here, and while the No.2 on the bazooka is missing, they still make a nice vignette of an anti-tank crew or 'brick'. Technically post war/cold war Polish infantry, they can pass for WWII Soviet infantry.

Airfix Russian Infantry; Airfix US Infantry; BR Moulds Toy Soldiers; Cold War; Polish Copy; Polish Paratroopers; Polish Toy Soldiers; Polish ZW; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Polish Infantry; PZG Toy Figures; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG US Infantry; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Timpo GI's; Timpo Solid GI's; Trojan Khaki Infantry; WWII Toy Soldiers;
Compatible with the previous set and including the same bazooka, these are painted as Paratroopers, but you can find them with black, blue (UN), green or khaki (above) berets. Both sets are quite large so I have a ways to go, but I've made a start!

P is for Polish Roundup - 1 - Flats, Semi-Flats & Historical Solids

So the plan was always to have three posts here today catching-up on incoming polish figures over the last 14-months, and as a foil to yesterdays space-horror, which only got Easter Sunday because I thought, well, the eggs! And I didn't have anything more festive.

That changed yesterday evening, with the recipt of a couple of eMails and a quick search of Picasa; so we're going to try six posts (I won't make a habit of it, except on ITLAPD!) before the clock register's Tuesday. How we do will depend on a number of factors, not least the weather - I must mow the lawn - second cut!

Cossacks; Grunwald 1410; Highlander Flat; Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; Napoleonics; Polish Flats; Polish Production; Polish Toy Soldiers; PZG Flats; PZG Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; PZG Napoleonics; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Poland; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Urlich von Jungingen; Winged Hussar;
This post is the oddments, and we're starting with a small mixed lot I bought a few months ago, mostly flats, but not the hard 'styrene flats I got from Grzegorz Maciak, these are more like PZG (recycled Nylon-66), slightly softer, and painted after PZG too.

Indeed, most are credited to PZG on that site we've visited before, these being found under the last button (Inni) which I think is the equivalent of 'other' or miscellaneous? Clearly a Polish winged-hussar and two Cossack types, although (as some of you will know from your studies and others from recent current affairs programmes) at the time both were part of the Empire of Poland-Lithuania or The Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, but they posed better attacking each other!

Note to Putler - don't attack the land of the Cossack's with a bunch of Siberian conscripts, you'll get your nose burnt, along with most of your tank-crews . . . and your best boat!

Cossacks; Grunwald 1410; Highlander Flat; Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; Napoleonics; Polish Flats; Polish Production; Polish Toy Soldiers; PZG Flats; PZG Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; PZG Napoleonics; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Poland; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Urlich von Jungingen; Winged Hussar;
A little light reading I've inherited! I've actually had to pack it for now, but I will read it soon, in the meantime, it seemed to be the perfect backdrop to the two figures.

Cossacks; Grunwald 1410; Highlander Flat; Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; Napoleonics; Polish Flats; Polish Production; Polish Toy Soldiers; PZG Flats; PZG Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; PZG Napoleonics; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Poland; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Urlich von Jungingen; Winged Hussar;
Another unlikely pairing, a contemporary levy (?) to the previous mounted figures faces off against a Highlander? In a sky-blue kilt with his tartan lines at a rakish angle! he looks like he might be another plastic figure taken from old Schneider's home-casting moulds, but I think the Eastern sculpts here are all originals?

Cossacks; Grunwald 1410; Highlander Flat; Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; Napoleonics; Polish Flats; Polish Production; Polish Toy Soldiers; PZG Flats; PZG Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; PZG Napoleonics; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Poland; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Urlich von Jungingen; Winged Hussar;
The guy on the right is also credited to PZG, but the other two remain question-marks, and he's a swordsman not an artilleryman, but again for the sake of a photogenic vignette; it'll do. They are also from very different eras!

Cossacks; Grunwald 1410; Highlander Flat; Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; Napoleonics; Polish Flats; Polish Production; Polish Toy Soldiers; PZG Flats; PZG Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; PZG Napoleonics; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Poland; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Urlich von Jungingen; Winged Hussar;
This chap is apparently Urlich von Jungingen from a set of Grunwald 1410 figures, and note he's posed on two different horses, as that was what came in the lot! More a fully round, he's some semi-flatness to him and his horse, and both have the look of what we or the French might call 'from Hollow-Cast', but I don't know if there was a lead progenerator?

Cossacks; Grunwald 1410; Highlander Flat; Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; Napoleonics; Polish Flats; Polish Production; Polish Toy Soldiers; PZG Flats; PZG Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; PZG Napoleonics; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Poland; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Urlich von Jungingen; Winged Hussar;
This was a shot I took a while back (two years ago) of my small sample of what I thought were all Napoleonic troops, but actually there are troops of several nations and several conflicts many years apart, so it became my even smaller 'samples'! But it makes a colorful group of what PZG (and another maker I think; I've lost the note!) were capable of.

Cossacks; Grunwald 1410; Highlander Flat; Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; Napoleonics; Polish Flats; Polish Production; Polish Toy Soldiers; PZG Flats; PZG Napoleonic Toy Soldiers; PZG Napoleonics; PZG Plastic Toy Figures; PZG Poland; PZG Toy Soldiers; PZG ZSP; Small Scale World; smallscaleworld.blogspot.com; Urlich von Jungingen; Winged Hussar;
Seen before but this is the 'appeared elsewhere' image! Bought at the pre-Christmas London Show in December, and note the chap in the middle is the same as my existing one, but a deliberately different shade of blue. There is a fifth somewhere I think, so that's a better sample than some of my PZG sets! But they're all growing.

B is for Breaking News - Toy Fair Latest!

Latest announcement on the toy 'wire' is a range of topical kits from Revell . . .

The first in the series is reportedly going to be followed by a Belarus-1522 dragging a T-80BVM MBT with damaged 'cope cage', an Agromash-180TK towing a 9K33 Osa/SA-8 'Gecko' and a Western John Deer pulling a BTR-82A IFV, all common-enough sights around Ukraine these days.

R is for Russian Russians from Russia.

I don't know if I have any Russian readers left, nor do I know how many Russian readers I had before Putin locked them out, but against the possibility that some are using VPN's to get a fix of their Western filth (toy soldier and model figure 'filth'!!), or that Blogger has escaped the more Draconian lock-bots currently blocking the parent Google, this is for you, if your President's allowed you to be here.

Most of these pictures were taken by Alex / Oleks known to some of you for his toy soldier site, he's in or around Kyiv, which your army is bombing back to the stone-age, (along with Serhiy of ElastoWit toy soldiers) and sends me what he can when he has a moment.

Luckily, the Russian Army is so fucking useless, they've left the mobile communications network up, so they could use it (which seems to have resulted in five of your Generals' being zeroed and dispatched to meet their maker), and by the time they might have been minded to shut it down, Ukrainian forces had knocked-out or captured most of your Electronic Warfare vehicles.

Understand this is NOT a "Special Military Operation", it is a murderous aggressive war of INVASION against an innocent country which did nothing to harm you, and it is a WAR you are losing.

Putin lied to you, and he's still lying to you. You have lost thousands of vehicles, tens of thousands of troops, hundreds of tanks and more than 70 aircraft, including three of your new 'indestructible' Kamov Ka-52 gunships.

This is what is waiting for you in Kyiv and Kharkiv,
everyone who can is working to make your soldiers die.

This is what you are doing to dozens of cities in Ukraine, carpet bombing and unregulated shelling, you are making 44-million enemies, in Kharkiv the Russian-speakers stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Ukrainian speakers, ready to kill your invaders.

You have wiped whole villages off the map, for no strategic or tactical reason, the hate generated will last for at least three generations.

This is what you mean by not targeting civilians, in Mariupol you have destroyed 90% of the housing and targeted two community shelters (in the Theater and a junior school) because they were built in the Soviet era and you know where they are, they are two war-crimes to add to all the others.

Your vehicles are not only being destroyed in large numbers, they are also being captured and used against your useless army.

Still burning! Because your officers took all the paperwork, mobile 'phones and watches from the conscripts in the initial wave, they are being buried in mass graves with no hope of identifying half of them. It will take international forensic teams (of the sort still working in the former Yugoslavia) years of peace to sort your mess out.

One of yours, the initial phase of the Northern Army Group (Group Z) was so appallingly badly handled, a lot of your dead were found days later frozen to the snow or mud, and the Ukrainians call them 'dog-food', because all the abandoned dogs in the villages you raised to the ground for no reason, have been eating them.

Abandoned, it is reported that retreating troops from that initial debacle were summarily executed by FSB firing squads, I don't know the truth of that, but as you are fighting in a medieval fashion, it's almost certainly true and with mobile crematoria in your rear echelons, you'll never know, as the evidence has already been burned, taking your casualty figures over 15 or 20,000 dead, god only knows how many injured? But we only care about the Ukrainians who didn't want this on their soil, they aren't bombing your cities, your towns - but they have every right to.

One of yours.

You have lost so many troops now, the Duma has passed a law allowing you to recruit thousands of mercenaries, but how are you going to pay them, your economy is on the floor and crawling out of the door? And who will those mercenaries be? Fascist lunatics and ego-tripping body-builders from the beer cellars of St. Petersburg, Islamist extremists from Syria and Tunisia? Chechen animals? You're going to love billeting them when the war is over.

One of theirs - I have no words.

What you are doing to Ukraine.

Why you've lost so many aircraft!

Does this look like a 'limited military operation' to you? Do you seriously think the Ukrainians would do this to themselves while you stand around doing nothing? Stop believing the Soviet-era style propaganda, and start to understand it will take you decades to pay for this.

Which you will have to before all sanctions are lifted - you have done trillions of dollars worth of damage and are continuing to do so as I write, despite the fact that in the North your armies have all but stopped and in the South-East Army Group V and the Donbas fascists are struggling.

This is what you're doing.
Blindly bombing residential suburbs.
This is not 'limited', this is total war, with war-crimes.

No military targets here, no limited "Nazi" elements,
just housing and shops.

Your army has thrown so much at the two northern cities, they are reported to be running out of ammunition, then what? Putin wants a deal, but the cards are falling from his hands, and you will have to pick up the pieces.

150+ civilians homeless - if they escaped the bombardment?

More housing, more shops.

Is this one of yours, or one of theirs? Maybe one of yours which became one of theirs for a few days? It doesn't matter, it's what it shows, total war against an innocent neighbor in the 21st century. You can't win, because we don't want this as the 'new normal'. The sanctions against Russia are the most punitive ever, you are now more isolated that Iran or North Korea. the whole world (except China - and they are staying on the fence) are against this WAR.

Army Group Z, as they are seen all over the Internet,
an Internet you're not allowed to look at.

The whole world except Russians and Belorussians are seeing these every day.
Army Group O? Resupply, second wave? Dead.

Putin calls the Ukrainians Nazi's,
but the only Nazi's in the room are your military.

Direct hit on a residential block which has already been shot-up?
Not even war, just war-crimes.

You have forcibly removed between 5 and 8,000 civilians to Russia when they were supposed to be using a humanitarian corridor to escape the bloodshed west, that is a war crime. You are refusing to allow humanitarian convoys into besieged cities, that is a war crime, you are threatening the entire population of Mariupol with military tribunals (when you have no jurisdiction in another country), you have shot on an old people's home killing +/-50 civilians, that is a war crime.

A school. March 1st. It's worse now.

A block of Flats.

But across Ukraine they are ready for you, they are preparing to kill your soldiers as they have been killing them for three and a half weeks.

We are told the people of Russia aren't to blame, yet we are also told Mr Putin's ratings have gone up, we are told the Russians don't know what is going on, well this is going on; your army is destroying a happy, developing democracy for no reason, while the Ukrainians destroy your army.

I realise this is a drop in the ocean of stuff generated by this illegal invasion of a sovereign nation, but if I reach one Russian, and change their mind, it will have been worth it. My impotence in these matters is matched only by my anger.

If you are Russian and you don't agree with what's happening, and you can see this, share this.

They are killing you at a rate of approximately 1000 personnel every two days, and you can include 5 generals and 1 Admiral in that total. The graph can't be fully trusted as it's come from Ukraine, during a war of attacking aggression and illegal invasion, but it's ten-time more accurate than anything coming out of the Kremlin or your puppet broadcasters.
