I’m a 62-year-old Aspergic gardening CAD-Monkey. Sardonic, cynical and with the political leanings of a social reformer, I’m also a toy and model figure collector, particularly interested in the history of plastics and plastic toys. Other interests are history, current affairs, modern art, and architecture, gardening and natural history. I love plain chocolate, fireworks and trees, but I don’t hug them, I do hug kittens. I hate ignorance, when it can be avoided, so I hate the 'educational' establishment and pity the millions they’ve failed with teaching-to-test and rote 'learning' and I hate the short-sighted stupidity of the entire ruling/industrial elite, with their planet destroying fascism and added “buy-one-get-one-free”. Likewise, I also have no time for fools and little time for the false crap we're all supposed to pretend we haven't noticed, or the games we're supposed to play. I will 'bite the hand that feeds', to remind it why it feeds.

WTF is for Whacky Tall Fellows!

These came from Peter Evans a couple of weeks ago, and are, well, whacky tall fellows . . . or fellowesses? I mean WT-very-actual-F? Clearly the Hong Kong 'old guard' in China, jumping on the Skibidy Toilet/Brainrot bandwagon, and it's so nice to know this shite is still being planned, designed, and issued!

No brand, no branding, no marks, no date, no nothing, just a bag . . . full of bags! Totally generic, and I thought they might be bendy toys, but it turned out they were just polyethylene novelty figurines, presumably picked from a counter display box or outer liner of some kind?

There's eight in total, about 80mm, two each of four polymer colours, most (five) having a skeleton as the central frame, and with open speaker/cone shapes being found on four of them, the red one on the left having shark'y mouths in the open ends of the cones. All have one colour of paint, stab-and-hoped, with some having two colours, and the giant eye having three.

The black 'baby' being the obvious odd-ball, having nothing in common with the other seven, while two incorporate inanimate human-constructed objects in the red traffic light and black screen of some kind. Completely whacky, completely fun, hard to stand up, classic Hong Kong tat, from 30-years after Hong Kong stopped marking their output separately, but I bet that's where these have come from!

Thanks to Peter for finding and grabbing them for us. These are so bad, they’re WTF'ing cool!
